baked goodness
It’s food made with love, served with love.
We use fresh, whole grains grown by local farmers to create delicious baked canvases for an array of seasonal toppings. We take the majority of our culinary inspiration from two places: The families we’ve been a part of, both at home and abroad; and the farmers who plant, cultivate, harvest, wash, store, and deliver the ingredients we use.
Our grains come from enterprising growers, including Lonesome Whistle Farm and Camas Country Mill. Our produce is provided by our dear friends from Flying Coyote Farm, Sauvie Island Organics, Winters Farm, among others. Our coffee, espresso and coldbrew are craft roasted by Trailhead Coffee Roasters and we use ethically sourced chocolate produced by Ranger Chocolate. Our loose-leaf tea blends, served hot or iced, are imported and blended by Jasmine Pearl Tea Company.
We are endlessly humbled by the depths of their talent, tireless hard work, stewardship, and delightfulness.

why seastar?
Because it sounds like sister (and we are like sisters). Because, before becoming a chef, Katia thought she just might become a marine biologist, and she still remembers the scientific names of an astonishing number of sea creatures. Because Annie dreams of growing old in a decaying wooden shack on a seaside cliff. And because, like the sea, we believe good food should be very fresh, a bit unpredictable, wonderfully diverse, and sufficiently salty.
